As the show is about to end soon, Surbhi Chandna spoke to ETimes about her journey. He said that his role in the show was fantastic and the makers tried many new things, which were new to the small screen. Talking about it, the ‘Sherdil Shergill’ actress said that it was a limited show and there was no pressure from the channel regarding ratings. On her character Manmeet, Surbhi shared how she wanted to portray the character as today’s woman who becomes a mother through IVF and then falls in love with a trainee in her office.
‘People wanted to see the romance’
Surabhi Chandana also shared that the audience was happy with Raj and Manmeet’s banter in the office and their romance. However, the actress feels that the wedding track came early, and it was not received well by the audience. Surbhi said that the fans wanted to see more romance. But people were a bit surprised when the track of Raj and Manmeet’s wedding came suddenly in the show. Since it was a limited show, the makers took a vow not to pull any track and that’s why the show got over in just four months.
